SAIMUN
Eastern India’s largest International MUN, accredited by UNESCO and UNIC. It promotes global awareness, diplomacy, and leadership among 600+ delegates globally.
SAIMUN, the annual Model United Nations Conference of SAI International School, has grown since its inception in 2013 into Eastern India’s largest International MUN, attracting over 700+ delegates from across the globe every year.
This three-day immersive experience is a conceptual replication of the United Nations International Committees, where students from Classes IX to XII step into the roles of UN representatives and members of international bodies. Here, they deliberate on pressing global challenges, negotiate, and arrive at solutions through consensus-building.
Accreditation: SAIMUN is a duly accredited event by UNESCO and the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC), proudly conducted under the aegis of the UN. The conference celebrates the theme: “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One World, One Family.”
Objective: The platform is designed to cultivate leadership, critical thinking, and global literacy among students while fostering international cooperation. Delegates engage in dynamic debates on historical and contemporary issues, gaining innovative perspectives to better understand the interconnected world.
